Summer music therapy for development of social communication skills
When: June 6, 13, and 20 at 11:00-11:45 (children ages 4-6); 12-12:45 (children ages 7-10)
Where: Fuse Performing Arts Center 943 S. Gilbert Rd. Mesa, AZ 85204 Suite 201
Fee: $90 – includes all three sessions!

Summer Music Therapy Camp is a music therapy group that targets social communication skill development in children with autism or other special needs.
In music therapy, musical experiences are used to engage children and work on goals that are non-musical.
Music Therapy experiences:
· Singing
· Movement to music
· Instrument playing
· Moving scarves & parachute
· Songs to teach academic concepts
Goals areas addressed:
· Expressive language
· Social skills
· Sustained & joint attention
· Knowledge of academic concepts
Sessions are led by board certified music therapist
